Jennifer Lopez Performs during opening of Morocco Mall

The American singer Jennifer Lopez was in Morocco on Thursday to mark the opening of “Morocco Mall” in Casablanca. Morocco mall is the biggest shopping mall in Africa and 5th in the world.

The singer was on holiday in Hawaii. With her new toy boy Casper Smart, she jetted off to Casablanca earlier this week for this mini concert. The performance cost more than one million U.S. dollars.

The singer sang her hit including "On the Floor" from the album "Love" done by the Moroccan producer Nadir Khayat a.k.a. RedOne. She brought her famous lyric 'Brazil Morocco, London to Ibiza, Straight to LA, New York, Vegas to Africa' to life.

The Spanish newspaper Publico wrote: "Morocco Mall is a mirage in a desert of crisis, the European brands who are settles in this mall, is because of the economic crisis and to escape this crisis elsewhere.

The mall, which opened Thursday with great fanfare in the presence of 50 foreign journalists, is intended primarily for foreign consumers because the prices used do not match the purchasing power of the majority of Moroccans, concludes Publico.
